Euronda and the Treedom project

Reducing our footprint with the first Euronda forest

Environmental sustainability is an important objective for Euronda, which continues to pursue, through increasingly efficient production processes, new materials and renewable energy sources. This time we wanted to seize the opportunity provided by E-Days—Euronda’s first virtual trade fair—to reaffirm our commitment to the environment with the creation of the Euronda Forest.

A tree will be planted for each participant who takes part in the event held from 14 to 16 April 2021. This will help reduce levels of CO2 in the air and support agroforestry projects for people in disadvantaged areas of the world.

What is Treedom and what does the project involve

This is all possible thanks to our collaborative partnership with the Treedom platform, which allows you to plant a tree remotely and follow the story of the project it belongs to online. Since its inception, more than 1,700,000 trees have been planted in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Italy. All the trees are planted directly by local people and help to provide environmental, social and economic benefits.

Each tree has its own online page and is geolocated and photographed. Here, you can discover the Euronda forest.

Euronda's mission continues

The idea is to begin forming the Euronda forest and take real action to protect the environment. There’s more to planting trees and joining the Treedom project than environmental protection alone. Treedom aims to create small-scale agroforestry projects throughout the country, which will help promote local economic development and establish a sustainable economic system.

We believe that Euronda’s decades-long commitment to sustainability now represents a major step towards a better world. For us, it’s great that this new journey will begin with an event made for and with our customers and partners, because we know that, together, we can do much more and better.
