The Plan Awards 2020: Euronda on the podium

An international prize for the new Euronda headquarters plan

The plan for Euronda’s new headquarters achieved a podium finish, taking 3rd place at THE PLAN AWARDS 2020: awards for architecture organised and promoted by the renowned international magazine, THE PLAN.

This award represents major recognition for the project, which was strongly supported by the company and developed by Tecnostudio, a studio in Padua headed by architect Danilo Turato. Taking part in the competition and entering his best creations, including the Euronda project, was his idea. More than 1000 projects from all over the world competed in 22 categories.

While recounting the back story behind the award, Turato briefly defined his project—Euronda’s new headquarters—as a “large functional ellipse”: “All the projects we submitted passed the first screening stage, were selected from 650 short-listed ones, and were subsequently published on the magazine’s website. Finally, a technical jury went over the nominees and awarded the prizes, while members of the public were able to vote for their favourite via the dedicated online platform, determining the outcome of the Community Wish List Special Prize”.

Euronda’s headquarters fell into the “Office&Business” category alongside 60 other projects, ranking third and being published on the magazine’s website (see more here, as well as receiving 440 supporting votes from members of the public.

In short, this is yet another accomplishment for Euronda and its ultra-modern headquarters in Vicenza. Conceived from the outset as a dynamic, open facility to bring Euronda’s wide community together and enable managerial and production sectors to communicate effectively, the large headquarters complex boasts a sleek and sinuous design. A place to meet and exchange ideas with areas dedicated to training, an events arena, a showroom and numerous areas for commercial dealings and teamwork.
